UkraineBorder Portal Launches — 90+ Guides for Foreigners Travelling to Ukraine

UkraineBorder.com has launched — an information portal for foreign nationals travelling to Ukraine during martial law. It consolidates border-crossing rules, customs regulations, regional safety guidance and travel insurance in one place, in ten languages. The portal currently holds more than 90 guides across four sections: border crossings (25 guides), customs (19), safety (13) and insurance (28). Content is written by editors based in Kyiv, dated, and reviewed at least every 60 days. It answers a practical problem: official rules change faster than third-party travel content is updated. The guides cover questions that rarely appear in conventional travel resources: which checkpoints are operating and typical waiting times, what may be brought in without declaration, why a satellite phone requires a permit under Resolution 1807, why private drones are banned under Decree 64/2022, what to do during an air raid alert, and which regions retain functioning tourist infrastructure. A separate section covers travel insurance with additional war-risk coverage. Standard policies sold internationally typically exclude injuries arising from war and terrorism. The «Brave» policy underwritten by PJSC «IC Euroins Ukraine» additionally activates event 4.1.1 of its general terms, covering injuries from mines, missiles, shelling and strike drones within Ukrainian territory, subject to four categories of exclusion: active combat zones, temporarily occupied territories, a 50-kilometre buffer from the line of contact, and special-regime areas. Coverage at the standard tier reaches €30,000.
